Scope and Contents
Consists of materials related to the following groups either affiliated with or supported by the Maritime Federation of the Pacific: the Bay Area Committee to Aid Agricultural Workers, including materials from the United Cannery, Agricultural, Packing and Allied Workers of America (UCAPAWA) and the Bakersfield Conference of the John Steinbeck Committee to Aid Agricultural Organization; the Council of Marine Crafts of America, which includes minutes and a flyer for a mass meeting to discuss the "Tanker Strike" of 1935; the Marysville Defense Committee; and the Defense Committee.
