The series is subdivided into subseries by the generating body or function and arranged chronologically: Subseries A: Committee and Board Minutes, 1949-1984; Subseries B: Committee on Political Education, 1982; Subseries C: Benevolent Board, 1951-1981; and Subseries D: Board Resolutions and Bylaws Revisions, 1948-1997. Materials were only separated into a distinct committee subseries if they were clearly marked; the activities of many committees by be contained in the more general Committee and Board Minutes subseries.
