The bulk of the collection consists of materials related to ILWU Local 10, including leaflets created by Osborne, election materials related to Osborne's campaigns for various offices in the union, and various agreements and copies of the union's constitution and by-laws. Personal papers include a biography by Osborne, Survival on the Waterfront, two journals, and other writings. The collection also includes scattered issues of periodicals including: "Wildcat" (Steelworkers), "Common Sense," "El Malcriado," "The Movement," "Plane Facts," "Industrial Worker" (IWW), "Northwest Organizer" (Minneapolis Teamsters), and the "Western Worker" 1937, and some publications, including Huelga! by Eugene Nelson and various published materials related to the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO).
