In December 1968, the campus American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Local 1352 sought strike sanction from the San Francisco Labor Council. In January 1969, about 350 teachers from San Francisco State College went out on strike. Photocopies of photographs from the San Francisco State Strike Collection were added to this folder as a reference for identifying faculty members.
