Series 1 consists of a small amount of material from Gayanne Fietinghoff's professional files. It contains a manuscript describing the making of the documentary Si Se Puede! in Arizona during Cesar Chavez's 1972 fast, and a statement by Chavez given at the end of the fast. It includes a few published articles, newspaper clippings, flyers and brochures containing Fietinghoff's photographs, and two KPFK Radio program guides in which Fietinghoff is credited as editor.
