Scope and Contents

Brief reports created by employer funded undercover agents on the activities of the Communist Party, particularly in the trade union movement, in the San Francisco Bay area. The reports begin in September, 1934, after the San Francisco Maritime and General strikes, and end in October, 1938. The reports follow several different formats and are not in complete sets. They were probably created for the Industrial Association of San Francisco.
