George Raya oral history
Scope and Content of Collection
Sound recording of interview with gay rights and labor activist George Raya, conducted by Craig Scott. This oral history was conducted as part of the Labor Archives and Research Center Oral History Project. In his interview, Raya discusses a number of gay union activists and his involvement in union organizing, lobbying, and gay rights activism both at the local and national level, which began while he was a student at Sacramento State University in the late 1960s.
