The Task Group on Occupational Exposure to Pesticides series contains Anderson’s documents from when he served as assistant to Task Group Chair Dr. Thomas Milby. It contains task group meeting notes and correspondence between Anderson, Milby, Dr. Ephraim Kahn, and Edwin Johnson. Also contains reports related to chemical use, exposure, re-entry times, and pesticide tolerance. Also contains information from various governmental agencies and organizations such as American Chemical Society and Environmental Protection Agency, and includes California Department of Health recommendations on pesticide safety and California Farmer Consumer Reporter newsletters. Topics covered include farmers-related issues, crops and pesticides (citrus, grape, and peach), chemical effects on workers, Federal Environmental Pesticide Control Act (FEPCA), and workmen’s compensation and worker safety.
